CellResearch Corporation Pte Ltd ("the Company") is excited to announce that the U.S Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted method patentclaims for one member of its family of patents. To add to several earlier granted internal patents is U.S. Patent No. 8,287,854: 'Skin equivalents derived from umbilical cord mesenchymal stem/progenitor cells and umbilical cord epithelial stem/progenitor cells'. This gives the Company a significant foothold in the field of stem cell technology. This development significantly boosts the Company's patent portfolio and enhances its developmental strategy. It also affirms CellResearch Corporation's continued efforts in making cord lining stem cells a choice for regenerative therapies and medicine, where the Company continues to be a global leader in the field.

The Board of Directors of CellResearch Corporation Pte Ltd (“the Company”) is delighted to announce that on 21st January 2014, the Indian Patent Office granted the Company’s Indian patent No. 258562.

Strategic Alliance Agreement extends reach into the People’s Republic of China
The Board of Directors of CellResearch Corporation Pte Ltd (“CellResearch”) is delighted to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Cordlabs Asia Pte Ltd (“CAP”) has extended its strategic alliance and co-operation agreement with Cordlife Group Limited (“CGL”) in relation to the provision of human postnatal umbilical cord tissue storage services to certain territories in the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”). CellResearch will work with CGL and China Cord Blood Corporation (“CCBC”) towards the provision of these services to the territories on an exclusive basis. CCBC, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, is the largest cord blood banking operator in the PRC, and one of the largest in the world.
